Aging Well In Community Workshop
Are you involved with your local senior's group or connected to a community gathering space that serves older adults?
We would love for you to join us in Digby to explore the possibilities of aging well in your community!
In this free workshop you will have the chance to reflect on what aging well means for you, connect with others and learn about resources and strategies to create communities where we can all age well.

Community Hall Transformation
Join us for this informative presentation from Andy Thompson, Community Developer – Community Infrastructure Lead.
This presentation will provide an overview of the project, including before and after photos of community halls in rural Nova Scotia, where to look for funding and first-steps to get started on community hall transformation in your area!

Tea and Talk
This free, virtual, informal gathering provides an opportunity to connect with our Community Developers as well as other groups in the sector from across the province. Aging Well Nova Scotia’s Tea & Talks create a positive environment where we can share our collective knowledge, experience and ideas to support each other in the work of building and supporting communities where we can all age well in place.

Seniors Week Celebration
This past October, more than 150 older adults came together for a Seniors’ Week celebration hosted by Aging Well Nova Scotia and community partners; Municipality of Wolfville, Deep Roots Music Cooperative and Wolfville Legion Branch 74. It was a joyful event with music, dancing, and treats.
Aging Well Nova Scotia also supported more than 75 seniors’ groups, clubs and programs with a small grocery gift card as a thank you and celebration of their many contributions to our communities.
