Disrupting Ageism in Nova Scotia Virtual Conversation

Aging Well Nova Scotia, in partnership with the Nova Scotia Centre on Aging, is inviting older adults (aged 55+) from across the province to participate in an online community session as part of our new initiative: Disrupting Ageism in Nova Scotia, funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program.

You are warmly invited to take part in a Community Session focused on disrupting ageism—a space to share stories, reflect on experiences, and explore how we can build more age-inclusive communities across Nova Scotia.

What to Expect:
•A friendly, facilitated discussion where your voice matters
•Opportunities to share personal stories and insights
•A chance to help shape future education and awareness efforts on ageism

Your voice matters. By sharing your experiences and perspectives, you will help us:
•Understand how ageism shows up in daily life,
•Identify meaningful ways to raise awareness,
•Create educational opportunities that are relevant and accessible for older Nova Scotians.

Your participation in this session will directly inform the development of workshops, resources, or other tools aimed at building awareness, resilience, and advocacy among older adults. If you have any questions or need assistance completing the survey, please contact us at info@agingwellns.ca or call 902-422-0914.
