Year of Aging Well Calendar
The 2026 Year of Aging Well calendar showcases some of the many senior-serving organizations and resources that support older adults and aging well in Nova Scotia.
The theme of this year’s calendar is Ageism; inside you can find information about what ageism is and how it shows up, and some ways it affects us. The calendar also busts ageist myths and offers examples and ideas for addressing ageism when we see it. We challenge ageism by celebrating older adults and community groups for their engagement and impacts in communities.
The calendar has been distributed in communities throughout the province. Thanks to all our community partners and members who ordered calendars to give out in their areas.
We are grateful to see such high demand for the calendar and are glad it’s a useful resource. If you are looking for a copy, or would like to submit photos to be used in future calendars, call or email us or get in contact to find out where you can find calendars in your community.
Community Links is thankful to the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care, and or sponsors for funding the Year of Aging Well Calendar.
