Disrupting Ageism in Nova Scotia
Aging Well Nova Scotia, in partnership with the Nova Scotia Centre on Aging had been awarded funding by the New Horizons for Seniors program.
Over the next year, Aging Well Nova Scotia will be seeking to understand the lived experience and perceptions of ageism among older adults in our province. We aim to engage older people and the community groups that serve them to identify and create “ageism disruptors” in our communities.
Virtual Community Conversation
Older Adults (55+) are warmly invited to take part in a virtual Community conversation focused on disrupting ageism—a space to share stories, reflect on experiences, and explore how we can build more age-inclusive communities across Nova Scotia.
Thursday, June 26, 10:00 - 11:30 AM
